North Star Marketing S.L. (NSM), established at Calle Rodrigo de Pertegás 40, 8º, 29, 46023 Valencia, Spain, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

NSM processes personal data only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and additional European and Spanish legislation.

Article 1 Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • visitors to the website www.northstarmarketing.nl and northstarmarketing.es;
  • people who complete forms (Quick Scans, demo requests, downloads, contact forms);
  • leads and clients of NSM;
  • recipients of marketing communication;
  • people who communicate with NSM via LinkedIn or other platforms.

Article 3 Personal data NSM processes

NSM processes only business personal data that is necessary for services and marketing. This can include:

  • name;
  • job title and company information;
  • business email address;
  • phone number (if provided by the person);
  • LinkedIn profile data;
  • data entered manually or through forms;
  • information about interactions with emails, campaigns or website visits;
  • technical data such as IP address, browser type and cookies (HubSpot).

NSM does not process private email addresses unless the person provides them.

Article 4 Purposes of the processing

NSM processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • Delivery of services such as HubSpot consultancy, Quick Scans and client communication.
  • Marketing communication, including newsletters, offers and relevant business information.
  • Analysis of website use and improvement of the online experience.
  • Lead generation and follow-up of requests.
  • Invoicing, administration and contractual communication.
  • Legal obligations, such as tax administration.

Article 5 Legal bases

NSM processes personal data on the basis of:

  • consent (opt-in via forms);
  • legitimate interest (B2B only, and proportionate);
  • performance of a contract;
  • legal obligations.

Article 6 Use of public sources

NSM may process business personal data that the person has deliberately made public, such as:

  • LinkedIn profile information;
  • company websites;
  • publicly available company information.

NSM does not use illegal scraping methods and does not collect private data or data from non-public sources.

Article 7 Cookies and tracking

NSM uses cookies and tracking technology via HubSpot for:

  • analytical purposes;
  • marketing automation;
  • form processing;
  • optimisation of the user experience.

Users can disable cookies through their browser settings.

Article 8 Retention periods

NSM does not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • B2B cold outreach data: a maximum of 12 months;
  • opt-in leads: a maximum of 24 months, or until consent is withdrawn;
  • client data: a maximum of 12 months after the services end;
  • administrative data: according to statutory retention periods (up to 5–7 years).

Article 9 Sharing personal data

NSM shares data only with processors that comply with the GDPR, including:

  • HubSpot (CRM and marketing automation);
  • LinkedIn (advertising and communication);
  • hosting providers;
  • administrative service providers.

NSM never sells personal data to third parties.

Article 10 International data transfers

Because NSM uses HubSpot, data may be processed outside the EU, for example in the United States.

This happens only with legal safeguards such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs);
  • additional security measures.

Article 11 Security

NSM takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

Article 12 Rights of data subjects

Every data subject has the right to:

  • access their own data;
  • rectification;
  • erasure (right to be forgotten);
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdraw consent at any time.

Requests can be sent to info@northstarmarketing.nl and are answered within 30 days.

Article 13 Minors

NSM focuses exclusively on B2B and does not process data of people under 18.

Article 14 Changes to this Privacy Policy

NSM may change this Privacy Policy. The most recent version is always published on www.northstarmarketing.nl.
